ABOUT THE LEVEE
OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE
The Construction Maintenance program includes two full time crews based at the McKinney Bayou Station near Tunica and the Yazoo Pass Station near Moon Lake. A foreman and crew at each station are highly skilled in the use of a variety of heavy equipment ranging from draglines and motor graders to shovels and grass blades. They use these skills to perform all activities necessary to keep the mainline levee in a constant state of superb operational and emergency readiness.
